This is my dinner-date pick. It is dramatic though not loud, and it goes with wool coats and a smear of eye liner like a dream.
Minty Alpine Almond With Chalk-White Accent
An invigorating mint set(with one nail of chalk-white and one snowflake on the mint accent) crisp, clean and covertly playful. The medium almond is simple to have on and gives into Short almond vibes as long as you want a more presentable length. The color palette is frozen and photogenic, with a skew towards white winter nails with a slight tip to winter nails inspo blue courtesy of the green-blue mint and the fine Snowflake.
Products: The GelBottle Tiffany or Olive and June RP of the mint, TGB of the white, and a thin white art gel of the snowflake. The bottom is made of rubber to avoid short almonds chipping and the top is non yellowing to keep the white.
Back at home, I plan somewhat in advance, apply two sheets of mint paper, draw one nail to white to get the contrast of the mint, and then by hand draw the snowflake motif on the mint. To achieve a salon finish, I polish slightly before the top finish on any portion of the surface so that the dust or texture gets eliminated–little effort, great reward.
I grab this when it is time to get something new during winter. It is sunny with white sweaters and it is stunning in daytime, a bit of mood-boost to grey afternoons.
